Having earned his MSEE from the University of Manchester, he has been granted over 35 worldwide patents within the various areas of electronics, hardware & software Engineering.
Dr. Jack Tan
Chief Medical Officer
Founder and former CEO of a number of healthcare companies including Northeast Medical Group and NEX (later Medinex, listed on the SGX) before joining TeleMedC in 2018. Graduated from University of Melbourne with his medical degree, he went on to do a Master’s in Public Health in London and then a PhD.
Sheryl Ng
Optometrist and Marketing Manager
Sheryl earned her degree in Optometry from Aston’s University before working with TeleMedC. She has years of experience in retail optometry and clinical optometry, and is passionate about training and medical technology.
Pauline Lim
Director of Finance
Pauline has extensive experience in finance, having served as Finance Director of Northeast Medical Group and the APAC Regional Controller of Leica Geosystems Technologies Pte Ltd.
Richard Lee
Senior Hardware & Software Development Engineer
Richard earned his degree in software engineering from the Singapore University of Technology and Design before working with TeleMedC. He is passionate about medical technology, and has worked on multiple successful projects relating to software/ hardware/ firmware development.

Dr. Jacob Cheng
Dr. Jacob Cheng graduated with an MBBS degree from the National University of Singapore in 1995, obtained the MMED (Ophth) in 2003, and postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (FRCSEd). He is a Consultant Surgeon in Cataract and Comprehensive Ophthalmology and subspecialises in the field of Vitreoretinal Diseases. His main expertise is in the fields of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, retinal vascular diseases, inherited retinal disorders and diagnostic visual electrophysiology. He has also performed numerous small incision cataract (phaco-refractive) surgeries with wavefront, toric and multifocal intraocular lenses, and femto-laser bladeless LASIK & Epi-LASIK procedures.
Dr. Gerard Nah
Dr. Gerard Nah is a Senior Consultant Eye Surgeon trained in the sub-specialty of Cornea, Refractive Surgery and External Diseases. A medical graduate from the University of Aberdeen in the United Kingdom, he underwent and completed his training as an eye surgeon in Singapore under the Singapore Armed Forces Postgraduate Scholarship (Medical) programme. He then went on to train as a clinical fellow at the University of British Columbia under Professor Simon Holland at the Eye Care Centre, Vancouver, Canada. During his fellowship, he was also tutored by Dr Steve Schallhorn, the founder of Warfighter Refractive Surgery Programme in the US Navy. Dr Nah's ethos in cornea and refractive LASIK surgery is rooted in his military pedigree; Enhancing vision performance through medical science whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety.
